You're Doing What?!

Whew!  What a whirlwind week!  What a whirlwind month!  What a whirlwind life we lead!  And that is why we are on this journey, this adventure.  For those who know me best, I heard you make the same statement repeatedly over the past several months, "I can't believe you're going to do this Denise."  I too can hardly believe I am doing this - driving sag support for my cycling husband across America and camping along the way - yes, tent camping!  Sometimes though you find yourself doing something you never would do if not for love.  And that is why I am sitting in a Hampton Inn in Hazard, KY starting this blog, for love's sake.  We started this journey much more than 8 days ago.  We started this journey when I was a 15 year old girl and he was a 17 year old boy and we had no idea where that first date playing tennis and eating Mayberry's Ice Cream would lead us.  One thing's for sure - love will move you beyond your comfort zone to places you never dreamed you would go.  That is why I begin writing tonight about our greatest adventure yet - crossing this great country of ours, one cycling mile at a time.
